Spent the entire 2010 season with Triple A Omaha in the Kansas City Royals organization...Tied for second in the Pacific Coast League with seven home runs during May...Hit .340 (32x94) with nine doubles, five home runs and 22 RBI in 24 games during June...Compiled an 11-game hitting streak August 16-26, batting .333 (15x45) with three home runs and 13 RBI...Saw action in 30 games with Mexicali in the Mexican Winter League following the season, batting .272 (31x114) with five doubles, eight home runs and 26 RBI.
2009
Spent spring training with the Milwaukee Brewers before being signed by the Texas Rangers and then ending up in the Royals system to post a solid offensive year with Omaha (AAA).
2008
Spent the season with Triple-A Richmond, batting .251 with 19 homers and 56 RBI in 387 at-bats, spanning 101 games.
2007
Scott spent his first full season with Atlanta, hitting .216 with 11 HR and 36 RBI. Made 66 starts at first base, but only one start (9/30 at HOU) after Mark Teixeira was acquired on 7/31. Hit .176 off LHP and .228 off RHP. Was a .203 hitter at home and a .227 hitter on the road. Hit .300 during the day and .178 at night. Went 4-for-10 with a walk and sac. fly in his last 12 pinch-hit plate appearances. Was 8-for-33 (.242) with two HRs off the bench between starts on 7/26 at SF and 9/30 at HOU. Batted just .188 (36-for-191) with 6 HR and 15 RBI from 5/17 (when Craig Wilson was released) to the end of the season. First half: .217 avg., 9 HR, 33 RBI. Hit his 3rd career pinch-hit homer and second of the season on 9/22 vs. MIL. Clubbed his 2nd career pinch-homer and went 2-for-2 on 7/29 at ARI. Posted first career multi-HR game and had career-best five RBI on 5/12 at PIT. Had a PH game-tying single with two outs in the seventh inning on 5/6 vs. LAD. Set career highs with four hits (4-for-4) and four RBI (HR) on 4/29 at COL. Had his first multi-hit game, including a home run, on 4/18 vs. CHI. Broke a 2-2 tie with a game-winning solo home run in the 11th inning on 4/4 at PHI.

Rookie split his season between Richmond (AAA) and Atlanta...Was named as Atlanta's seventh-best prospect after the season by

...Named Richmond's Player of the Year and Player of the Month for April (.318-3-12) and June (.413-6-18)...At the time of first recall, ranked second in the IL in batting (.324) and HR (15) and T4th in RBI (44)...Named the IL Player of the Week (ending 6/4), hitting .375 with four HRs and 10 RBI...Was recalled from Richmond on 6/18 and went 0-for-4 in his major league debut that night vs. TOR. Started in left field and batted third in the lineup...Collected first MLB hit and RBI in the sixth inning 6/20 off TOR's Scott Downs...In 19 July games, hit .341 with four homers and nine RBI...Hit first career homer (and first pinch homer) vs. STL on 7/4 in the sixth inning off Josh Hancock...Had career-high three hits and a home run on 7/19 vs. CIN...Was optioned to Richmond on 8/15 and recalled again on 9/1...His pinch-double to leadoff the 11th inning in Gm 2 on 9/3 at PHI led to the winning run.

Led all Braves minor leaguers in hits (164), total bases (268), RBI (92) and tied for first with 21 HR...Named Mississippi's Player of the Month for April (.315-4-17) and May (.316-4-25) and Richmond's player of the month for August (.303-3-13)...Hit .355 (75-for-211) with 14 HR and 48 RBI vs. RHP with Mississippi...Opened season with Mississippi (AA) and was called up to Richmond (AAA) on 7/14...Had 18-game hitting streak 5/16-6/3 (28-for-74, .378)...Was selected to play in Southern League All Star Game.

Started the season on fire going 8-19 with 3 doubles and a triple in the first four games...June 9, hit a 2-run homer (his second home run of the game) in the bottom of the ninth to give the Pelicans a 3-2 victory over Lynchburg....Selected to play in the annual Futures Game of minor league prospects; pushed an opposite field pinch hit single in the 7th inning of the Futures Game....Was named Carolina League player of the week for August 7-13.

Named Braves' eighth best prospect by Baseball America...Led Macon with 38 doubles, was secondwith 16 homers and 82 RBI and third with a .294 average.
