Ranked second in the Missouri Valley Conference and 17th in NCAA Division 1 in saves in 2017...In 2016 was a First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference relief pitcher and MVC First Team Scholar Athlete...Played summer ball in the Cape Cod League in 2016 for the Falmouth Commodores and for the Altamonte Springs Boom in 2015 where he was Florida League Reliever of the Year...Was a member of the Dallas D-Bat Gallegos team which won the 2014 Connie Mack World Series... Graduated from Frisco Centennial (TX) High School...Resides in Frisco, Texas.

2022

Signed by the Atlanta Braves as a Minor League free agent on March 26 and spent the entire season with Triple-A Gwinnett, compiling a 1-5 record with a 3.88 ERA (20 ER/46.1 IP) and three saves…Fanned 63 batters against just 16 walks on the season. His 12.2 strikeouts per 9.0 innings were the most in a season in his career in which he appeared in at least 20 games. 31 of his 43 appearances on the season were scoreless. 

2020

Made his Major League debut at Chicago White Sox (8/16) and struck out five batters over 2.1 scoreless innings, becoming the first Cardinals reliever since Tom Cheney (4/21/57) to strike out five or more batters in 2.1 or more scoreless innings in his MLB debut...Earned his first Major League win vs. Cincinnati as the Cardinals rallied for their first walk-off win of the season (5-4) in his 3rd career appearance and his first at Busch Stadium...Pitched on consecutive days three times and once on three consecutive days (9/16-18)...Made nine appearances in September, T-4th on the Cardinals with Andrew Miller...Did not allow a run in seven consecutive appearances (9/7- 21) covering 5.2 innings.

2018

Was traded to the Cardinals from the Mariners for RHP Sam Tuivailala on July 27...Posted a combined 8-2 record with a 2.13 ERA in 44 appearances between Modesto (A) and Springfield (AA) pitching in both the Mariners and Cardinals organizations...Was a perfect 9-for-9 in save opportunities while with Modesto and 4-for-6 while with Springfield for a careerhigh 13 saves...Went 17 appearances without allowing a run (4/22-6/15) compiling 19.2 innings (28 strikeouts) allowing only three hits and did not allow a hit in a calendar month (10 app.) from 5/11-6/11...Did not allow an earned run in May or June (18.0 IP)...Held left-handed batters to a .178 (13-73) batting average and right-handed batters to a .157 (18-115) mark...Stranded 9-of-10 inherited base runners (10.0% IRS pct)...Struck out at least one batter in 40-of-44 appearances with a season-high five batters at Lake Elsinore (5/4) over 2.0 innings...Made 16 appearances of four outs or more with 10 of 2.0 innings...Still managed to rank T-5th among Mariners minor leaguers with nine saves despite being traded in July...Finished the season on the Memphis (AAA) postseason roster and threw a scoreless inning with two strikeouts in the Pacific Coast League playoffs.
