Canadian native graduated from Edouard Mont-Petie in Quebec in 1995...Attended Fort Scout CC in Kansas for two years, 1996-97...Was selected by the Angels in the 10th round of the 1997 First Year Player Draft and signed by scout Bob Fontaine.
2006
Pitched for AAA Toledo's International League championship team...Made 3 starts and 29 relief appearances during the regular season...Was on the disabled list with right elbow tendinitis, April 20-May 26...Returned to the DL with a right shoulder strain on September 7 after making one post-season appearance for the Mud Hens...As a reliever, went 4-3 with 2 saves and a 2.53 ERA...Pitched to a 1.24 ERA (21.2IP, 3ER), allowing runs in just 2 of his first 15 relief appearances through June 23, before making his the first of his 3 starts...Was 1-2 with a 9.28 ERA as a starter...Allowed 2 runs in 5.0 IP in each of his first 2 starts, a win on June 26 vs. Norfolk and a loss on July 5 at Louisville, but yielded 7 runs on 0.2 IP in his last start on July 24 vs. Durham...Allowed earned runs in only 5 of his first 27 relief outings and gave up more than one run in relief only once in that span...Had a 1.34 ERA in relief through August 24...Yielded 5 runs on 8 hits in 1.0 inning of relief in his next-to-last outing of the regular season on August 26 vs. Louisville...Pitched 1.2 scoreless innings in his only post-season appearance on September 6 vs. Charlotte.

Began the season with AA Akron in Cleveland's organization...Was traded to Detroit on 7/1 and spent the remainder of the season at AAA Toledo...Spent the entire season in the bullpen with both clubs, making his first relief appearances since making 8 relief outings in his first year in pro ball in 1998...Combined between Akron and Toledo to make 50 appearances, going 4-4 wih a 4.23 ERA...Eight of his 26 appearances with Akron came against the Orioles' Bowie affiliate, but he never faced the O's Ottawa farm team in his 24 appearances with Toledo, as the Mud Hens won the first of back-to-back International League titles.

Went 5-17 with a 7.66 ERA in 29 starts for AAA Salt Lake...Led the Pacific Coast League in losses, runs allowed (131) and walks (85).
2003
Spent sixth professional season at triple-A Salt Lake...Compiled 9-5 record with a 4.66 ERA (110 IP - 57 ER) in 21 starts... Walked 47 and struck out 70 batters...Allowed six home runs in 110 innings pitched...Nine wins led Stingers...Won four straight decisions, May 17-June 7...Longest outing was 7 IP, May 27 at Los Vegas and June 1 at Tucson (back-to-back wins)...Strikeout high was six, April 4 vs, Las Vegas (5 IP) and Aug. 23 vs. Tacoma (6 IP)...Was 5-1 with a 3.96 ERA (63.2 IP - 28 ER) in 12 road stats...Was 3-1 with a 2.40 ERA in final month of season (five starts)...Opponents batted .284 against him...On minor league disabled list from July 4-27 due to right forearm stiffness...Made two rehabilitation starts at rookie Mesa, posting 1-1 record and 1.29 ERA (7 IP - 1 ER).
2002
Spent fifth professional season in Angels' organization on disabled list to recover from "Tommy John" surgery (right elbow ulnar collateral ligament transplant surgery)...Placed on 15-day DL, March 11, and transferred to 60-day DL, April 5...Suffered torn flexor muscle and ulnar collateral ligament damage, June 1, 2001 vs. Portland in first inning...Examined by Dr. Lewis Yocum, June 4, 2001 at Kerlan-Jobe Clinic in Los Angeles, CA...Underwent "Tommy John" surgery, June 20 at Centinela Hospital in Inglewood, CA...Also had his right flexor muscle trimmed...Surgery was performed by Dr. Yocum.

Split time between single-A Lake Elsinore and Erie...Began season at Lake Elsinore, posting 7-6 record with four shutouts and 3.95 ERA (120.2 IP - 53 ER) in 19 starts...Led California League in shutouts, tied for third in complete games (4) and 10th in ERA...Promoted to Erie, recording 3-1 mark with one complete game and 3.32 ERA (40.2 IP - 15 ER) six starts.
