Played in 18 games over two stints with the Mariners (8/22-27 & 9/8-remainder of season)...Recalled from Tacoma (AAA) on 8/22; made Major League debut that night vs. NYY as a PH (0-for-1)...Made first career start in right field on 8/24 vs. NYY...Tallied his first Major League hit 8/26 vs. BOS, a single in the seventh inning off David Wells...Optioned back to Tacoma on 8/27...Hit first career ML home run on 9/15 at KC off Scott Dohman, a 435-foot, two-run blast to left...With Tacoma, had 30 multi-hit games: two four-hit games, five three-hit games and 23 two-hit games...Hit .347 (35-for-101) with 18 runs, nine doubles, a homer and 13 RBI in 25 games in August...Recorded a season-high five RBI on 4/21 at SAC, going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two HR...Was on the disabled list with a dislocated right thumb from 6/7 to 7/21...Appeared in four games on rehab assignment with Peoria from 7/17-20, hitting .250 (4-for-16)...Received "Gold Glove" award for best defensive player as chosen by the Rainiers staff.

Appeared in 128 games for Wisconsin...had 20 outfield assists...went 4x5 with a career-high five RBI April 24 vs. South Bend...had a nine-game hit streak, April 22-May 5, hitting .350 (14x40)...hit .345 with 17 runs, eight doubles, six stolen bases and 12 RBI in the month of August.

Began pro career with Everett, appearing in 62 games, 53 in right field...went 7x14 in 6 games June 25-July 3...named Northwest League Player of the Week for Aug. 19-25, hitting .500 (10x20) with 7 runs, 3 doubles, a home run and 3 RBI over that stretch....315 (28x89) in 25 August games...participated in 2002 Arizona Instructional League.
