Wilson played in three different organizations throughout the season, four if you include where
he started spring training...began the year on the Padres' 40-man roster but was released near the end of
camp on March 29...signed a minor league contract with Oakland on April 5 and played in 14 games for
Class AAA Sacramento before being released on April 23...signed a minor league deal with the Mets on
May 14...was placed on the seven-day disabled list that day due to a contusion of the right wrist and reported
to Triple A Norfolk upon activation on June 3...had his contract selected by the Mets on June 16 and
played in one game (0-for-1) before being designated for assignment on June 19...cleared waivers and was
outrighted to Norfolk...less than a week later, the Mets purchased his contract again on June 24...he played
in three more games for New York, including a start on June 27 at Yankee Stadium (1-for-2, single)...was
designated for assignment July 7 and accepted an option back to Norfolk...was designated for assignment
again on July 21 and outrighted to Norfolk...on Aug. 16, he was traded to Los Angeles and reported to Triple
A Las Vegas where he hit .421 with 4 homers and 9 RBI in nine games...was a September call-up with the
Dodgers on Sept. 1 and spent the remainder of the season in the big leagues, batting .125 in nine games,
no starts.
Postseason: Homered in Game 1 of the NLDS at St. Louis on Oct. 5, becoming the first Dodger
to ever homer in his first career Division Series at-bat...he played in two postseason contests, both as a

Joined the Diamondbacks organization and hit a career high .303 for Tucson of the Pacific Coast League (AAA)...In 111 games hit 17 doubles, three triples, 12 home runs and drove in 54 runs...Joined Arizona for a two day stay, June 2 & 3, but did not see any action...Caught 94 games for Tucson and appeared in 13 games at first base, three in the outfield and three at third base...Hit .357 in 54 games following the All-Star break...In August hit .433 with 13 extra base hits and 15 RBI.

Rejoined the Yankee organization and hit .296 in 124 games for Norwich with 21 doubles, 21 home runs and 80 RBI...Finished third in the Eastern League in on-base percentage (.416), fourth in walks (86) and strikeouts (126) and fifth in runs scored (88)...Hit in 26 of 31 games from July 1 to August 6 posting a .357 average...Appeared in one game with Columbus.
