2023

In his first full season with the D-backs, went 5-4 with a 4.15 ERA (41 ER in 89.0.0 IP) in 17 games (16 starts). Began the season with Triple-A Reno, going 1-0 with a 6.33 ERA (15 ER in 21.1 IP) and 22 strikeouts in four starts. Recalled by the D-backs on April 24. On May 27 vs. Red Sox, retired four of the five batters faced over 1.1 scoreless innings in relief, marking his first professional career appearance out of the bullpen after a combined 66 starts between the Minors and Majors...On May 31 vs Rockies, tossed seven scoreless innings for the first time in his career and tied a career high with seven strikeouts (also: Aug. 19, 2022 vs. Cardinals)…also allowed a career-low two hits. In his five starts in June, Arizona went 5-0 and he recorded 24 strikeouts over 27.1 innings. Walked two or fewer batters in 11 of his 16 starts. Did not pitch after July 28 after he was placed on the 15-day injured list on July 30 (left elbow inflammation)…was transferred to the 60-day injured list on Aug. 19.

2022

Made nine starts in his first Major League stint with Arizona, going 3-4 with a 5.36 ERA (28 ER in 47.0 IP)...Made his Major League debut on Aug. 3 @ Guardians (4 ER in 5.0 IP…was the first D-back to make their Major League debut as a starter since Alex Young on June 27, 2019 @ Giants...Optioned to Triple-A Reno on Sept. 8…recalled on Sept. 23...Went 4-4 with a 3.74 ERA (47 ER in 113.0 IP) in 21 starts with the Aces...Ranked among Pacific Coast League leaders at the time of his promotion in innings pitched (1st), starts (T-1st), ERA (3rd), strikeouts (5th, 100), opponent average (6th, .248) and WHIP (7th, 1.34)…Entered the season rated by MLB Pipeline as the D-backs' No. 16 prospect.

 Went 4-6 with a 5.21 ERA (67 ER in 115.2 IP) and 135 strikeouts over 23 starts in his first professional season with Double-A Amarillo....Notched first career win on June 26 @ Corpus Christi (1 ER in 6.2 IP)....Ranked among all Double-A pitchers in strikeouts (1st), games started (2nd) and innings pitched (3rd).

Spent the entire season at the D-backs' Alternate Training Site...Participated in Arizona's Instructional League.

Made three starts with Short-Season A Hillsboro and went 0-0 with a 6.00 ERA (2 ER in 3.0 IP) and four strikeouts.

2024

Went 2-3 with a 7.04 ERA (31 R-30 ER in 38.1 IP) and 30 strikeouts in nine games (seven starts) over two stints in his third season with the D-backs...In his seven starts, went 1-3 with a 6.47 ERA (24 R-23 ER in 32.0 IP), 13 walks and 26 strikeouts...In his first three road starts from April 5-23, went 1-0 with a 2.81 ERA (6 R-5 ER in 16.0 IP), opponent .231 AVG (15-for-65), six walks and 17 strikeouts...In four road starts, held runners in scoring position to a .227 AVG (5-for-22) with two walks and six strikeouts...Made his second and third relief appearances on June 9 @ Padres and June 15 vs. White Sox...In 20 starts with Triple-A Reno, went 10-1 with a 4.25 ERA (54 R-51 ER in 108.0 IP), opponent .266 AVG (109-for-410), 54 walks and 114 strikeouts.
