Was one of the top hitters in the Pacific Coast League, batting .306 (128x418) with 25 doubles, 30 home runs, 89 RBI, 32 stolen bases and a .975 OPS (.379 OBP/.596 SLG) in 107 games with Triple-A Salt Lake...Named a Pacific Coast League postseason all-star, an MiLB.com organizational all-star and the Angels’ MiLB.com Hitting Prospect of the Year...In the PCL, he ranked tied for first in home runs, second in OPS, sixth in stolen bases, seventh in batting average and tied for seventh in RBI...Had his contract selected by the Angels on July 14 and made his Major League debut that day vs. Houston, going 0x1 as a pinch-hitter...Made his first Major League start on July 16 vs. Houston, going 3x3 with a double and two RBI...Collected his first career hit with a single vs. RHP Cristian Javier...Hit his first career home run on July 21 vs. PIT, a solo shot off RHP Johan Oviedo...Batted .208 (11x53) with three doubles, a home run, seven RBI and a stolen bases in 22 games across two stints with the Angels.

With Double-A Rocket City, earned Southern League Player of the Month honors for April after leading the league in average (.356), home runs (eight), RBI (21), total bases (57), slugging percentage (.781) and OPS (1.265) and ranked second in OBP (.484), third in hits (26) and walks (six) and fifth in runs (15)... Also, named Southern League Player of the Week for April 25 - May 1...In five games, hit .471 (8/17) with one double, three home runs, seven RBI, five walks and a 1.668 OPS... On April 10 at Birmingham, hit a single off the wall, measured by Trackman at 121 MPH... Hit a walk-off grand slam, May 6 vs. Chattanooga and finished the game with six RBI (most in a game for any Angels minor league player in 2022)... Suffered a fractured left forearm, May 13 at Pensacola and missed remainder of season on injured list.
