Full name is Tyler Michael Danish…graduated from Durant (Fla.) HS in 2013, when he was Louisville Slugger National HS Player of the Year, Florida’s “Mr. Baseball” and Class 8A Player of the Year after going 15-1 with a 0.00 ERA (94.0IP, 0ER) in 17 games…was ranked by Baseball America as the No. 96 prospect in the 2013 Draft class.

2022

Over five stints with the Red Sox (4/19-24, 4/25-29, 5/8-8/28, 9/2-10/1, 10/6-end of season), went 3-1 with a 5.13 ERA (40.1IP, 40H, 24R/23ER, 12BB, 32K, 7HR) in 32 relief outings…was placed on the 15-day injured list from 7/7-8/28 with a strained right forearm…appeared in 10 combined relief appearances with Double-A Portland and Triple-A Worcester, posting a 4.09 ERA (11.0IP, 5ER) and 15.

2021

Signed with LAA as a minor league free agent on 5/14...Went 5-3 with a 3.84 ERA (30 ER/70.1 IP) between Double-A Rocket City (3 G) and Triple-A Salt Lake (29 G, 3 GS)...Recorded 79 SO and only 15 BB...Held RHH to a .196 AVG (29-for-148)...Posted a 6.55 ERA in three starts (8 ER/11.0 IP) but a 3.34 ERA in 29 relief appearances (22 ER/59.1 IP)...Threw 2.0+ innings in 23 of his 32 appearances, including 3.0+ innings 11 times...Threw 4.0 scoreless innings on 9/6 at Sacramento (1 H, 0 BB, 5 SO)...In his final eight outings (beginning 8/30), posted a 3.04 ERA with 12.55 SO/9.0 IP (23.2 IP, 22 H, 8 R, 6 BB, 33 SO)...Allowed 1 run over 7.0 IP in his final three outings.

Spent the entire season with Class AAA Charlotte … made one appearance with the White Sox in May...Was added to the active roster as the 26th man for a doubleheader on 5/26 … made his season debut that afternoon vs. Detroit as the starter in Game 1 … earned his first major-league win after allowing just three hits with six walks and six strikeouts over 5.0 IP...Became the first White Sox pitcher to earn a win in his first career start since Carlos Rodón on 5/9-2/15 vs. Cincinnati and the first to work 5.0-plus scoreless IP with three or fewer hits allowed in his first major-league start was Lance Broadway on 9/27/07 vs. Kansas City (2 H/6.0 IP) … source: STATS LLC...Was returned to Charlotte following the game … led the Knights in IP (138.1), tied for the team lead in starts (25) and ranked second in complete games (one) … his 14 losses tied for the most in the International League...Won his season debut on 4/9 vs. Norfolk (1 ER/5.0 IP) before going 0-6 with a 4.80 ERA (35 ER/65.2 IP) over his next 12 outings (11 starts)...Went 1-6 with a 7.20 ERA (28 ER/35.0 IP) over seven starts from 7/5-8/8 … his lone win came on 7/23 at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (2 ER/6.0 IP)...Suffered the loss on 8/24-1 at Norfolk despite recording his fourth career complete game … allowed two runs over 6.0 IP...Entered the season rated by Baseball America as posessing the Best Changeup in the White Sox organization.

2016

Split most of the season between Class AA Birmingham and Class AAA Charlotte but also made three appearances with the White Sox. His contract purchased from Birmingham on 6/9 … made his major-league debut on 6/11 vs. Kansas City, allowing one run over 0.2 IP … worked 0.2 scoreless IP on 6/12 vs. the Royals. Was optioned to Charlotte for the remainder of the season following his third appearance on 6/13 vs. Detroit (1 ER/0.1 IP). Opened the season with the Barons and made 12 starts … limited right-handers to a .213 average (34-160).  Went 2-2 in April before losing five of his six decisions in May and June (went 1-4 in May). Earned his first win on 4/17 at Jacksonville (2 ER/6.0 IP) … threw a three-hit shutout on 4/28 vs. Pensacola … allowed just one run on four hits over 8.0 IP in a win on 5/14 at Tennessee. Went 1-3 with a 4.32 ERA (12 ER/25.0 IP) in five starts and 0-0 with a 14.54 mark (7 ER/4.1 IP) in two relief appearances with Charlotte. Was winless over his first four starts from 6/21-7/7 before earning his only victory on 7/18 vs. Scranton-Wilkes/Barre. Made his final start on 7/29 vs. Columbus before undergoing season-ending surgery on his right knee on 8/18. Entered the season rated by Baseball America as the No. 6 Prospect and Possessing the Best Changeup in the White Sox organization … also tabbed by MLB.com as the fifth-best prospect in the Sox system.
