The Jake Peavy Foundation and Rex Foundation present "Can't Stop The Train - A Tribute to Jerry Garcia" featuring Phil Lesh + SF Giants' Jake Peavy & his band The Outsiders on August 17th at The Fillmore in San Francisco. The night will serve as a preamble to the following day at AT&T Park, where the Giants will host Jerry Garcia Tribute Day.
With this incredible evening of music, The Rex Foundation and The Jake Peavy Foundation will honor the life and works of Jerry Garcia, while raising money for both foundations. A highlighted beneficiary of the evening will be Larkin Street Youth Services (LSYS) based in San Francisco. LSYS, founded as a neighborhood effort to help San Francisco's most vulnerable youth has severed of 75,000 since it's founding in 1984. To continue their efforts in partnership with Omaze, both foundations are launching Be "Grateful" for San Francisco with a VIP Giants experience featuring pitcher Jake Peavy, and a jam session with a member of the Grateful Dead. Flights and hotel included.
