Rangers acquire three 2017 international slots in trade

The Texas Rangers tonight announced that the club has acquired 2017 International slot compensation in a three-team trade with the Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins.

Arlington, Texas -- The Texas Rangers tonight announced that the club has acquired 2017 International slot compensation in a three-team trade with the Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins.
 
The Rangers will receive international slot #93 from Atlanta and international slots #37 and #97 from Miami for 2017.
 
Texas has traded minor league shortstop Dylan Moore to Atlanta. Moore is batting .351 with 5 homers and 14 RBI in 17 games at High-A High Desert. The Rangers 7th round pick in the 2015 MLB draft opened this year at Low-A Hickory, batting .244 with 9 homers and 45 RBI in 101 games.
 
In addition Atlanta has traded outfielder Jeff Francoeur and cash considerations to Miami with the Marlins sending minor league catcher Matt Foley to the Braves.
