In 2016, he started the All-Star Game in left field and was named a finalist for the Rawlings Gold Glove Award in center field. Bradley hit .267 (149-for-558) with 30 doubles, seven triples, 26 home runs, 87 RBI, and an .835 OPS last season, while his 13 assists led major league center fielders. A native of Aruba, Bogaerts leads the Red Sox in games (459), hits (519), and runs (259) since the start of the 2015 season.
Pomeranz, 28, was placed on the disabled list on March 30 with a left forearm flexor strain. Acquired from the San Diego Padres following his first career All-Star Game last season, the left-hander finished 2016 with a 3.32 ERA (63 ER/170.2 IP) and a .217 opponent batting average over a career-high 30 starts. Pomeranz has gone 25-36 with a 3.80 ERA (195 ER/462.1 IP) in 138 career games (79 starts) with the Colorado Rockies (2011-13), Oakland Athletics (2014-15), Padres (2016), and Red Sox (2016).
