JACKIE ROBINSON DAY: Major League Baseball and Scholastic are celebrating the 21st year of Breaking Barriers: In Sports, In Life, the educational program designed to teach young students about obstacles faced by Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson as he broke baseball's color barrier in 1947. The D-backs will recognize national essay contest winner, 4th grader Anne Howe (from Tucson), during a special pregame ceremony alongside Sharon Robinson. In addition, the D-backs will recognize 12 recipients of the 2017 Youth of the Year Award from various Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix and MLB All-Star Arizona Diamondbacks Branch Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year Thomas Denton will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Singing the national anthem will be Julian Alexander from the Ed Robson Family Branch. The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation will contribute $4,200 to Boys & Girls Club of Metro Phoenix to support scholarships for the D-backs Boys and Girls Club. In addition, game-worn jerseys from Jackie Robinson Day on April 15 will be available for purchase at D-backs Authentics at section 134 with net proceeds benefitting the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation.
GOLD GLOVE AWARD PRESENTATION: The D-backs will present Zack Greinke with his 2016 Rawlings Gold Glove Award during a special pregame ceremony.
FRY'S DIAMOND DAYS PROGRAM: Fry's Food Stores and the USO will treat more than 200 military members and their families from the National Guard, USMC and Navy Reserve.
AMERICAN LEADERSHIP ACADEMY: The D-backs will recognize the American Leadership Academy (ALA) championship football team on the field prior to the game. The ALA Pom and Cheer teams will also perform a routine for all fans in attendance.
CHASE YOUR DREAMS: The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and Chase will recognize the Moon Valley High School baseball and softball teams during a special pregame recognition. Moon Valley received an equipment donation through the Chase Your Dreams program prior to the start of their current seasons.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD PRESENTATION: The D-backs will present Zack Greinke with his 2016 NL Wilson Defensive Player of the Year Award during a special pregame ceremony.
EARTH DAY: The D-backs will celebrate Earth Day by incorporating messaging for fans throughout the game on how they can help live a more sustainable lifestyle at the ballpark and at home. Many of the in-game activities will be centered around Earth Day, including the D-backs Match game, which will feature cards on how fans can be more environmentally responsible and an Inning of Winning in which a fan will try to recycle as many plastic bottles as possible. The D-backs Legends Race will include the Legends cleaning up recyclables as they run. The D-backs will also showcase some of their sustainability efforts throughout the game, including the new high-efficiency hand dryers in bathrooms, which will reduce more than 1,000 miles worth of paper towel waste throughout the season, educating fans about the 200 new recycling receptacles around the ballpark which displays how fans can better recycle at Chase Field, and informing fans of the more than six tons of food waste that was donated to Church on the Street last season to feed people in need. Fans are encouraged to check out the APS Solar Pavilion, which provides extra shade over the ballpark's heaviest used entrances and generates 100,000 kWh of solar energy; enough electricity to power the lights at Chase Field for 11 home games.
BIG O TIRES BIG SHOT AT THE BALLPARK: The D-backs will recognize winners from the Big O Tires Big Shot at the Ballpark program during a special pregame parade along the warning track. During the school year, each Big O Tires location in Arizona teamed up with a local elementary school to reward 10 students for excelling inside and outside of the classroom. In addition, the winners received a T-shirt and four tickets to the game courtesy of Big O Tires.
D-BACKS EXPRESS: The D-backs offer a hassle-free way to see a D-backs game for fans in Tucson. A luxury bus will pick up fans at the Foothills Mall in Tucson and drops off fans in front of Chase Field. Round-trip fares are $25 per person and leaves three hours before game time. WINGS FOR WARRIORS: The D-backs will recognize veterans who have benefitted from Wings for Warriors, a non-profit organization helping more than 2,500 wounded warriors with healthcare and financial benefits counseling and over 300 military families with travel assistance, during a special pregame ceremony.
SUBWAY KIDS TAKE THE FIELD: Kids ages 7-15 can enter for the chance to "Take the Field" with D-backs players at every Sunday home game prior to the National Anthem.
COLD STONE KIDS SUNDAYS: Each Sunday home game, one winner is selected to deliver the lineup card to the umpires with a D-backs coach before the game and deliver Cold Stone Ice Cream to the D-backs' broadcast booths.
SANDERSON FORD CRONISTA INFANTIL: The D-backs and Sanderson Ford will host the next Cronista Infantil as a guest on the D-backs' Spanish radio broadcast alongside Oscar Soria and Rodrigo Lopez during the game. Kids ages 10-14 are encouraged to sign up and audition to become the next Sanderson Ford Cronista Infantil by visiting losdbacks.com/cronista
D-BACKS KIDS CLUB, presented by Danzeisen Dairy: The Kids Club is a free program for kids 15 & younger that rewards members with prizes for each game they attend, including a complimentary ticket to Sunday home games. PLAY BALL FUND: As a part of the on-going D-backs Give Back charitable efforts, the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation will recognize Play Ball grant recipients during a special pregame ceremony on the field. Throughout the season, the Play Ball Fund, supported by Chase and Western Refining, will award teams, leagues and organizations $1,000 in grants for equipment, training resources and more. THROWBACK THURSDAY, presented by Chase: The D-backs will wear the Alternate Home Vest Uniform (worn from 1998-2006). Every Thursday home game will be deemed part of the D-backs Throwback Thursdays (#DbacksTBT), presented by Chase, and fans can expect to see the retro purple and teal colors incorporated in every game element at Chase Field, including signage, video and photos on dbTV. Fans are encouraged to wear the throwback purple and teal colors on Throwback Thursdays and the Chase Field Team Shop will offer a wide variety of items featuring the retro colors for fans to purchase. Chase credit or debit card users will receive special offers each Thursday, including:

ROLAND HEMOND TO BE HONORED: The D-backs and SABR will recognize Roland Hemond in a special pregame ceremony. Earlier this year, it was announced that the local SABR chapter will be named the Hemond-Delhi Arizona Chapter in honor of the many honors bestowed upon Hemond throughout his career. Hemond has been with the D-backs organization for 10 years and currently serves as a special assistant to the President & CEO.
SWIM SAFETY PROGRAM: The D-backs and Safelite AutoGlass have teamed up to provide the City of Phoenix with $25,000 to keep City of Phoenix pools open during the months of July and August. In addition, a limited number of swim lessons will be available at a discounted price ($3) by signing up at dbacks.com/safety. The D-backs and Safelite AutoGlass will present a check for $25,000 to the City of Phoenix during a special pregame ceremony and kids from the South Mountain Little League will enjoy a day in the Ram Trucks Pool.
CHASE EMPLOYEE VOLUNTEER: The D-backs will recognize more than 1,000 Chase employees who volunteered along with members of Teach for America-Phoenix to help revitalize two charter schools in the Espiritu Schools network. The volunteers will be recognized for their collaboration, accomplishment and volunteerism during a special pregame ceremony. The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation matched a $15,000 donation to Rebuilding Together to help fund the project.
GRAY MATTERS FOUNDATION: The D-backs will recognize members from the Gray Matters Foundation in a special pregame ceremony. Gray Matters works to support and empower brain tumor patients.

CULINARY CRAWL: The D-backs will host a special event from 5-7 p.m. along the Suite Level, in which fans will be able to taste the new food items available at Chase Field in 2017 and will hear from special guests, including Chef Stephen Tilder and D-backs Legends Luis Gonzalez and J.J. Putz.
CHOIR NIGHT: More than 200 fans of all ages will sing the national anthem from the warning track.
D-BACKS RACE WINNERS RECOGNIZED: The D-backs will recognize the top three finishers in their respective age category from the fifth annual D-backs Race Against Cancer, held on April 9, in a pregame ceremony, along with race sponsor, University of Arizona Cancer Center at Dignity Health St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. In addition, the D-backs will recognize the largest corporate team -- Safelite AutoGlass and the fastest corporate team -- Dignity Health, in a special pregame ceremony. Overall top race finisher, Brandon Southall, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. 
MOST VALUABLE TEACHERS: The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation will recognize ten outstanding teachers as part of the D-backs Most Valuable Teachers program that celebrates outstanding teachers and educators and acknowledges their commitment to education. Each D-backs MVT will receive $1,000 to spend on classroom supplies and will be recognized during a special pregame ceremony. Fans are encouraged to nominate an educator that they feel goes above and beyond at dbacks.com/MVT.

#DBACKSSOCIAL MEDIA NIGHT: Leading up to the game, fans can follow the team's @Dbacks and @LosDbacks social media accounts for a chance to win tickets and other prizes, including a chance to watch batting practice from the field, throw out the ceremonial first pitch and take the field with D-backs players. On the day of the game, the team will host player chats on Facebook and Twitter. That evening, all fans in attendance will be able to see their social media posts on the dbTV videoboards by using #DbacksSocial and make song requests throughout the game by tweeting the song title and artist name along with #DbacksDJ.
LDS NIGHT: The D-backs will welcome more than 1,000 fans from the LDS Young Singles Association (LDS YSA) to enjoy the game. As part of the special night, the LDS YSA choir will sing the national anthem and Al Carraway, author of the book "More than the Tattooed Mormon," will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
ARIZONA ASSOCIATION OF STUDENT COUNCILS: As a part of AASC Night, the D-backs will recognize Student Council Advisors across the state of Arizona in a special pregame ceremony.

DONATE LIFE: Representatives from Donate Life will be located at tables along the concourse to create awareness and encourage people to register for organ and tissue donation. More than 700 people will be at the game wearing the Donate Life T-shirt to help encourage others to sign up. In addition, Ashley Foster, who is celebrating her one-year transplant anniversary, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
DIA DEL NINO: The D-backs will celebrate Dia Del Nino by offering 2 free kids (15 and under) tickets for every adult ticket purchased. The KidKaster winner will also get a tour of the FOX Sports Arizona production truck, appear on the pregame show and interview a D-backs player. SCHOOL CHALLENGE GRANT WINNERS -- April 25 & 29: The D-backs will recognize winners from the $100,000 School Challenge, presented by University of Phoenix, in which 22 schools received up to $5,000 each from the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and University of Phoenix in 2016. Winners were selected last fall through an online grant process to help make improvements to schools across the state.
MOST VALUABLE TEACHERS: Parents and students are encouraged to nominate their favorite teacher to receive a $1,000 grant and be honored at a D-backs game in 2017. All nominations must be submitted by July 31. For more information, visit dbacks.com/mvt.
CHEVROLET ARIZONA ALL-STARS -- Apr. 21, 23, 29 & 30: The D-backs will recognize youth sports leagues in a pregame parade around the field. The event also serves as a fundraiser for youth sports teams. Last year, the program raised more than $55,000 that went back to Little Leagues across the state of Arizona.
HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL -- April 22: Chase Field will play host to High School baseball games as part of the High School Baseball Series fundraising opportunity. The baseball game will feature a matchup between Cholla High School (Tucson) and Empire High School (Tucson).
TEEN SAFE DRIVING MOCK CRASH/EXPO -- Apr. 21: Phoenix Fire will conduct a mock crash as a way to show students the dangers of drinking and driving. D-backs legend Luis Gonzalez will join members of Arizona Department of Public Safety in the auditorium at North Canyon High School to speak to students about the importance of safe driving. Students will have the chance to take the D-backs State Farm Safe Driving Pledge and in return receive a D-backs t-shirt and ticket voucher to a future D-backs game.
SCIENCE OF BASEBALL TEACHER TRAINING -- Apr. 22: Thirty- five teachers from across the Valley will take part in a Science of Baseball teacher training course taught by University of Arizona professor Ricardo Valerdi from 9 a.m. -- 3 p.m. in the Legends Conference Room at Chase Field. Each teacher will receive a curriculum booklet as well as a supply kit to teach the Science of Baseball in their school.
TEEN SAFE DRIVING MOCK CRASH/EXPO -- Apr. 28: Phoenix Fire will conduct a mock crash as a way to show students the dangers of drinking and driving. D-BACKS SAFELITE SUMMER OF SAFETY CAR SEAT CHECK -- Apr. 29: The D-backs and Safelite will partner with the Phoenix Fire Department, Phoenix Police, and the Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety to check and install child car seats from 8 a.m. -- 11 a.m. at the Fry's Food Stores located at 51st Ave. and Baseline. Car seats will be inspected and replaced for free if determined inadequate. Free seats will be given to those in need. LA TERRAZA: Fans can enjoy a Latin vibe in the Upper Right Field Concourse at every Friday, Saturday and Sunday home game, which includes specialized décor, Latin music and authentic regional food from local favorites such as El Güero Canelo. For more information, visit dbacks.com/laterraza.
D-BACKS LICENSE PLATES: fans will have the opportunity to purchase the official D-backs license plate during each D-backs Saturday home game, beginning Apr. 29. The Arizona Department of Transportation will have a table on the main concourse at section 132 where fans can purchase or renew their D-backs license plate. Fans that purchase or renew their D-backs license plate at the game will also receive a limited-edition D-backs license plate t-shirt. The D-backs license plate costs $25 and $17 from each plate benefits the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation. D-BACKS AUTHENTICS: The D-backs sell game-used and authenticated merchandise ranging from game-used bases, jerseys, bats, balls and lineup cards to autographed merchandise. Net proceeds from D-backs Authentics sales benefit the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation. D-backs Authentics will be located at section 134 on the main concourse or on Twitter @DbacksAuthentic. 
D-BACKS BASEBALL ACADEMY YOUTH CLINICS: D-backs Baseball Academy coaches will host two free clinics for kids at Futures Field located in the Phoenix Children's Hospital Sandlot at each D-backs home game starting one hour before first pitch and at the end of the fourth inning.
