Twins select eight players on second day of Draft

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have selected eight additional players on the second day of the 2017 First-Year Player Draft to bring their two-day total to 11 players.

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have selected eight additional players on the second day of the 2017 First-Year Player Draft to bring their two-day total to 11 players. In all, the Twins have drafted three right-handed pitchers, three left-handed pitchers, three infielders and two outfielders in the first two days of the draft. Of the 11 total players selected, seven were drafted out of college and four out of high school.

The Twins will complete the 2017 First-Year Player Draft with rounds 11-40 tomorrow starting at 11:00 a.m.
