2007 World Series championship team to be celebrated

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 2007 World Series Championship, the Red Sox will today welcome back and celebrate members of the 2007 team during ceremonies preceding the 1:35 p.m. Red Sox-Royals game.

BOSTON, MA -- To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 2007 World Series Championship, the Red Sox will today welcome back and celebrate members of the 2007 team during ceremonies preceding the 1:35 p.m. Red Sox-Royals game.
Scheduled to attend today's ceremony are Luis Alicea; Jeff Bailey; Bryan Corey; Manny Delcarmen; J.D. Drew; John Farrell; Devern Hansack; Javier Lopez; Mike Lowell; Julio Lugo; Brandon Moss; Hideki Okajima; David Ortiz; Dustin Pedroia; Curt Schilling; Kyle Snyder; Julian Tavarez; Mike Timlin; Gary Tuck; Jason Varitek; Tim Wakefield; and Kevin Youkilis.
With Hanscom Air Force Base presenting the colors, the national anthem will be performed by Alexis Lowell, daughter of 2007 World Series MVP Mike Lowell. 
The Red Sox swept the Colorado Rockies during the 2007 World Series, which began Wednesday, October 24, and ended on Sunday, October 28. The 2007 championship marked the second World Series win for the Red Sox in four years, and seventh overall.
