Mariners sign 33 of 40 picks from 2018 MLB Draft

Seattle Mariners Director of Amateur Scouting Scott Hunter announced today that the club has signed 33 of its 40 picks from the 2018 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.

Seattle Mariners Director of Amateur Scouting Scott Hunter announced today that the club has signed 33 of its 40 picks from the 2018 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.
Beau Branton (inf), a 28th round selection from Stanford University, is the latest 2018 draft pick to sign with the Mariners. 
All Major League teams have until July 6, 2018 (2:00 p.m. PT) to sign drafted players with remaining college eligibility. 
The Mariners selected 21 pitchers, 3 catchers, 11 infielders (6 2B, SS, 1 3B) and 5 outfielders. Seattle selected 33 college players and 7 high school players.
