The Pirates have recalled LHP Buddy Boshers (pronounced "bo-SHEERS") and RHP Michael Feliz from Triple-A Indianapolis and have optioned RHP's Clay Holmes and Casey Sadler to Indianapolis.
Boshers last pitched in the Majors with Minnesota in 2017 and was just acquired off waivers from Houston on Tuesday. He went 2-1 with a 3.18 ERA (51.0ip/18er), 55 strikeouts and 15 walks in 41 games with Fresno (Astros' AAA) this season. He will be wearing uniform #53.
Feliz began this season with the Pirates and has appeared in 39 games; he was optioned to Triple-A on 7/27. Feliz is wearing uniform #45.
