Judge ignites offense again, swats 23rd HR

July 2nd, 2018

NEW YORK -- For the second consecutive night, wasted no time getting the Yankees on the scoreboard.
On an 0-2 cutter from Braves right-hander , Judge lifted a long fly ball a Statcast™-projected 340 feet just over the wall in right field, giving the Bronx Bombers a 1-0 lead in the first inning on Monday at Yankee Stadium.
The home run was the Yankees slugger's team-leading 23rd of the season. Judge did the same on Sunday in the 11-1 victory over the Red Sox, blasting a solo shot to Monument Park that sparked a four-run inning.
