Angels-Indians matchup in rain delay

CLEVELAND -- The Indians and Angels are in a rain delay prior to the start of Saturday's clash at Progressive Field. The Tribe has won the previous two games by double-digit margins.
Right-hander Mike Clevinger (0-1, 6.97 ERA) is scheduled to start for Cleveland. The rookie was drafted by the Angels in the fourth round of the 2011 Draft and then traded to the Indians in 2014.
Los Angeles counters with right-hander Matt Shoemaker (6-12, 4.07 ERA), who will be making his 23rd start of the year. Shoemaker has posted a 2.80 ERA over his last 15 starts. He also has an 0.82 ERA in three career starts against the Tribe.
First pitch is scheduled for 9:20 p.m. ET.
