Arcia, Dahl, Turner among top prospect performers Wednesday

Orlando Arcia couldn't have picked a better time to hit his first home run of the season.
The Brewers' No. 1 prospect delivered a walk-off, three-run home run for Triple-A Colorado Springs in the bottom of the seventh inning to beat Nashville in the first game of a doubleheader, 5-4.
Facing a 4-2 deficit headed into their final at-bat, Sky Sox left fielder Eric Young Jr. opened the inning with a single and then advanced to third base on Keon Broxton's double. Arcia, who batted in the two-hole Wednesday, followed with his first Triple-A home run, driving a 1-0 offering from Angel Castro over the right field wall.
Arcia, the No. 5 overall prospect on MLBPipeline.com's Top 100, finished 2-for-4 at the plate drove in four of the Sky Sox's five runs in the contest, as he also started his team's scoring with an RBI single in the third inning. The 21-year-old shortstop has collected multiple hits in four of his first 12 games and is hitting .289 on the season.

No. 44 overall prospect David Dahl (Rockies' No. 3) went 2-for-5 and hit his sixth home run of the season to reclaim a share of the Minor League lead in Double-A Hartford's win against New Hampshire. The 22-year-old outfielder, who's hitting .246/.281/.590 through 14 games, has now hit as many long balls this season as he did across 79 games in 2015.
No. 9 overall prospect Trea Turner (Nationals' No. 2) is batting an even .400 after going 5-for-8 in a doubleheader for Triple-A Syracuse. After failing to crack the Nationals' Opening Day roster, Turner has piled up 20 hits, 12 runs and six steals in his first 13 games for the Chiefs.
No. 61 overall prospect Victor Robles (Nationals' No. 3) filled out the box score yet again in Class A Hagerstown's rout of Lakewood, going 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, three RBIs, three runs scored and a stolen base. He also was hit by a pitch for the fifth time in 14 games. On the season, the 19-year-old Robles is batting a robust .348/.492/.630 with two home runs, three triples, 18 runs scored and seven stolen bases.
No. 79 overall prospect Willy Adames (Rays' No. 3) hit a go-ahead, three-run home run in the top of the 9th and Jake Bauers (No. 5) went 3-for-4 with his second dinger of the season and a pair of doubles in Double-A Montgomery's win against Tennessee.
No. 84 overall prospect Albert Almora (Cubs' No. 5) went 3-for-4 and hit his first Triple-A home run in Iowa's loss to New Orleans. The 22-year-old center fielder also extended his hitting streak to six games with the three-hit performance, his second in as many days, and is now batting .368/.422/.500 on the season.
• Speaking of hitting streaks, Tigers No. 4 prospect Christin Stewart extended his to six games when he blasted his fifth home run of the season for Class A Advanced Lakeland, moving him into a tie for the Florida State League lead.
Marlins No. 6 prospect Austin Dean had a perfect day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a two-run home run, his first of 2016, and a walk as Double-A Jacksonville defeated Mobile, 8-6. After he scuffled last year in the Florida State League, Dean, 22, is batting .313/.417/.500 with six extra-base hits and 13 RBIs through his first 14 games in the Southern League.
Dodgers No. 10 prospect Yusniel Diaz homered in his third straight game in Class A Rancho Cucamonga loss against Lancaster. Signed for $15.5 million ($31 million total with penalty) last November, Diaz, 19, has batted .333 with six extra-base hits and 10 RBIs over his last six games after opening the season in a 1-for-17 funk.
Rangers No. 16 prospect Andy Ibanez's torrid start to the season continued Wednesday with a 5-for-7 performance that included his second home run and a walk-off RBI double in the bottom of the 17th for Class A Hickory. The 23-year-old second baseman, whom the Rangers signed last July for $1.6 million, is batting .456 through his first 13 games and currently leads the Minors in hits (26), extra-base hits (12) and total bases (43).
Cardinals No. 17 prospect Austin Gomber scattered six hits and struck out five in 6 2/3 scoreless innings as Class A Advanced Palm Beach shutout Bradenton, 3-0. The 2014 fourth-rounder's outing pushed his scoreless innings streak to 14 2/3, and he owns a 1.02 ERA in 17 2/3 frames on the season.
Giants No. 30 prospect Dylan Davis hit a pair of home runs to power Class A Augusta in a 9-5 win over Rome. His first long ball, a three-run shot off of Max Fried (Braves' No. 10) in the fourth inning, gave the GreenJackets the lead, and he tacked on an insurance run in the seventh with a solo homer.
