Springer, Correa unleash perfect throws during loss to Rangers

HOUSTON -- While the Astros lost to the Rangers, 3-2, Saturday night, the game wouldn't have been as close without some spectacular throws by right fielder and shortstop .
The first came in the fourth with two on and two outs and the Astros leading, 1-0. Designated hitter knocked a ball to right field that would've scored , if not for Springer's throw.
He launched it 93.2 miles per hour, according to Statcast™, into the glove of catcher , who secured the tag at home plate to end the inning. The Rangers challenged the call, but it was confirmed.

Not to be outdone, Correa came up with a beautiful throw of his own in the seventh. doubled to the left-field wall, and tried to score from first. But got the ball to Correa, who then unleashed a laser to Castro from left field to get the out and keep the game at 2-1 Rangers.
