KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Talk about star power.
Astros shortstop Carlos Correa spent five minutes hanging out and talking with NBA Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry after he scored 51 points, including 10 3-pointers, in the Golden State Warriors' 130-114 win over the Orlando Magic on Thursday night.
"He's really a humble, down-to-earth guy," Correa said on Saturday. "It was fun to talk to him, to get to know him after that great game he had. He was calm and had great composure. It was unbelievable. It was maybe five minutes, but it was a great five minutes."
Correa said he got home at midnight following the basketball game and had to wake up at 5:30 a.m. to get to Osceola County Stadium for Friday's workout. But it was all worth it. The meeting was set up through the Magic.

"It was unbelievable," Correa said. "You cannot believe what he can do. That half-court shot he made was incredible. You go out there and you go out of your way to watch a basketball game and you've got to be here at 6 a.m., but it's worth it. When a guy plays like that, it's worth watching basketball and going out of your way to watch a game when you have to be at the ballpark so early the next day. It was fun to watch him play and to meet him."
Correa posted a picture on his Instagram page on Friday of him standing next to Curry. They both stand about 6-foot-4, but the similarities end there.
"Same height, but he can play better basketball than I can," Correa joked. "And I can play better baseball than he can."
