Astros, Rangers team up to aid flood victims

The Astros and Rangers have joined to assist victims of the devastating floods in Louisiana.
The Rangers, who host the Astros this weekend, will donate the net proceeds from their Texas 2 Split 50/50 Raffle on Sunday to the American Red Cross to aid in the Louisiana flood relief. The Astros, who host the Rangers from Sept. 12-14, will donate the net proceeds from their Share2Care 50/50 Raffle on Sept. 12.
"The catastrophic floods in Southern Louisiana have resulted in the tragic loss of life and affected thousands of individuals," Rangers Foundation chairman Neil Leibman said. "The Rangers Foundation is grateful to be joining with the Astros to provide this assistance."
The Rangers Baseball Foundation and The Astros Foundation also will make additional contributions to the American Red Cross.
