Astros Foundation pitches in for Harvey relief

Club's charity, corporate partners will provide meals for Texas National Guard members

The Astros Foundation and a number of corporate partners will work together to provide and serve a week's worth of meals to 500 Texas National Guard members assisting with Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

Starting Thursday, meals will be provided each evening at Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base by the Astros Foundation, which is joined by Bluebell, Freddy's, Landry's, Minute Maid, Papa Johns, Pluckers, Torchy's Tacos, Whataburger and the Transocean Cook Team.

Each partner is committed to at least one day between Thursday and Sept. 14, totalling over 3,500 meals between them.
