The TORONTO BLUE JAYS are pleased to announce the additions of COREY HART, DONNIE MURPHY and JUAN RINCON to the organization's minor league field staffs for the 2016 season. While the majority of the minor league personnel will return for 2016, HART will be taking over as Dunedin's Hitting Coach. MURPHY will serve as the Hitting Coach in Lansing, while RINCON will begin his coaching career as the Pitching Coach for the Gulf Coast Blue Jays.
 
One other notable change this season is that the Hitting Coordinator duties will be split between Kenny Graham (6th season with the Blue Jays), who will oversee the lower-level clubs and John Tamargo Jr., (7th season with the Blue Jays) who will oversee the upper-level teams.
  
HART joins the coaching ranks, bringing significant experience to the organization after spending the last six seasons in the Miami Marlins system, including the last four as the hitting coach for the Jupiter Hammerheads (A). Prior to joining the Marlins organization he spent four years coaching in the Milwaukee Brewers' minor league system. The former infielder played eight minor league seasons with Kansas City (1998-2004) and Milwaukee (2005) after being selected in the 23rd round of the 1997 First Year Player Draft by Kansas City.
 
MURPHY will also be making the transition from player to instructor, taking over the Hitting Coach duties in Lansing (A). The nine-year veteran played in 335 games for six Major League clubs recording a .212 average with 33 home runs while seeing time at all four infield positions.
 
RINCON joins the Blue Jays after a playing career that spanned 18 years, including 10 in the Major Leagues. The left-handed reliever held big league LH hitters to a .208 average in his 444 games for the Twins, Indians, Tigers and Rockies. The Maracaibo, Venezuela native will bring his expertise to the Blue Jays Gulf Coast (rookie) squad for the 2016 season.
