The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have hired MIKE MUROV in the role of Director, Baseball Operations.
MUROV has been in the Red Sox organization since 2010, most recently as the clubs Assistant Director of Major League Operations. A product of Dartmouth, Murov has been in baseball operations in various capacities since 2008, with stints in Florida and Cincinnati, prior to joining Boston in 2010. In his new role, the Oakland, California native will support Baseball Operations in creating and implementing decision making systems and processes across the department. He will assist in the preparation and analysis of financial, statistical, and contractual information, coordinating contract negotiation and arbitration preparation.
