Reynolds is ranked third among Giants prospects by MLBPipeline.com.
Giants officials were ecstatic when they selected the switch-hitting Reynolds in the second round (59th overall) of last year's Draft, since they considered him a first-round-worthy choice. San Francisco lacked a first-round pick a year ago.
A product of Vanderbilt University, Reynolds entered Thursday with a slash line of .310/.350/.463 to go with four home runs and 29 RBIs in 64 games for the Giants' Class A Advanced San Jose affiliate.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pound outfielder broke into the organization successfully in 2016, recording a combined .313/.363/.484 slash line in 56 combined games with short-season Salem-Keizer and Class A Augusta.
Reynolds has a smattering of experience playing both outfield corners, though he's considered primarily a center fielder.
No Giants prospects were chosen for the World team that will face its U.S. counterparts two days before the the 2017 MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard.
