Catcher Austin Allen homered in his second game with Double-A San Antonio and third baseman Carlos Belen hit a grand slam homer and tied his career high with five RBIs for Single-A Fort Wayne Sunday.
Padres center fielder Jon Jay (.167) was 0-for-3 with a walk in his second rehab game with Advanced Single-A Lake Elsinore while second baseman Jemile Weeks (.000) was 0-for-3 with a RBI.
Meanwhile, catcher-turned-reliever Jose Ruiz allowed a hit with two strikeouts in two scoreless innings to get the win for short-season Single-A Tri-City. Ruiz (2-0) has yet to give up an earned run.
There were several moves on the penultimate day of the minor league season. Left-handed pitcher Thomas Dorminy was activated from Fort Wayne's disabled list and transferred to Lake Elsinore. Right-handed pitcher Luke Bachar was transferred from Lake Elsinore to Fort Wayne and right-handed starter Emmanuel Ramirez was transferred from Fort Wayne to Arizona.

OF Nick Torres (.317) was 1-for-4 with two RBIs. 1B Patrick Kivlehan (.254) had a homer in three at-bats for two RBIs and a stolen base. 2B Carlos Asuaje (.320) was 0-for-3 with two walks, a steal and a run scored. CF Manuel Margot (.303) was 1-for-4 with a walk, two steals and a run scored. Starting LHP Frank Garces (4.41) struck out two in a perfect inning. CF Auston Bousfield (.172) was 2-for-5. C Ryan Miller (.232) had a double in three at-bats with a walk and a run scored. Starting LHP Jerry Keel (0-2, 6.88 ERA) allowed four runs on eight hits and four walks with three strikeouts in 7 2/3 innings. RHP Adam Cimber (2.56) struck out the only hitter he faced. RHP Trey McNutt (1.50) struck out one in a perfect inning.
ADVANCED SINGLE-A LAKE ELSINORE (37-32, 69-70): High Desert 7, STORM 4: LF Edwin Moreno (.269) was 2-for-3 with his 14th homer and two runs scored. INF Luis Urias (.330) was 1-for-4 with a RBI. Dorminy (1-8, 9.94 ERA) allowed six runs on nine hits and two walks with two strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings. RHP Corey Kimber (8.53) allowed a run on two hits with two strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings. RHP Ben Paullus (4.86) allowed a hit with three strikeouts in two scoreless innings. RHP Louis Distacio (8.59) allowed a hit and a walk with two strikeouts in a scoreless inning.

Starting LHP Logan Allen (3.33 ERA) allowed three runs on a hit and three walks with a strikeout in 2 2/3 innings. RHP Aaron Cressley (4.05) allowed a hit with a strikeout in one-third of an inning.
