MLB.com

The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated RHP Shelby Miller (@ShelbyMiller19) from the 60-day disabled list (Tommy John surgery) and placed RHP Clay Buchholz (strained left oblique) on the 10-day disabled list. To make room on the 40-man roster, Arizona released RHP Stefan Crichton.

Miller, 27, will start tonight for the D-backs @ Marlins, his first Major League outing since April 23, 2017 vs. Dodgers, after undergoing surgery on May 10, 2017, performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache. He made 4 rehabilitation starts between Single-A Adv. Visalia and Double-A Jackson, going 1-0 with a 4.66 ERA (10 ER in 19.1 IP), 28 strikeouts and 6 walks.
