SAN DIEGO -- The Cubs' infield combination of Anthony Rizzo and Kristopher Bryant lead the latest Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot results for the 2017 MLB All-Star Game presented by MasterCard, announced Tuesday.
Jason Heyward was third among the National League outfielders behind the Nationals' Bryce Harper and the Rockies' Charlie Blackmon. Harper, who led the NL in fan balloting in 2015, leads the voting again thus far this year, receiving 900,079 total votes. Blackmon has received 520,479 votes, and Heyward 344,166.
Heyward's teammates Benjamin Zobrist (327,231) and Kyle Schwarber (305,449) were Nos. 4-5 in the latest balloting for NL outfielders.

"It's an honor," Bryant said of the fan balloting. "It's never a goal of mine to be like, 'Oh, I want to get the most votes.' It's just a product of doing the right and good things on the field."
It helps that the Cubs are coming off a World Series win, too.
"Any time you did what we did last year and have that national attention and one of the best World Series, a lot of people start paying attention," Bryant said.
Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager (399,347) paces the Cubs' Addison Russell (379,640) in the NL's closest infield race.
Rizzo has received 452,620 votes and Bryant 632,900 votes in their respective categories. Rizzo is followed by the Nationals' Ryan Zimmerman (359,055). The Rockies' Nolan Arenado (392,051) follows Bryant at third base.

Willson Contreras (355,289) is behind the Giants' Buster Posey (559,428) at catcher. Javier Baez has received 474,119 votes and is second to the Nationals' Daniel Murphy among NL second basemen.
The Cubs made All-Star history last year by becoming the second team to have its entire infield to start an All-Star Game, as Rizzo, Zobrist, Russell and Bryant were elected to the NL team. The only other team to accomplish that feat was the 1963 Cardinals.
This is the first time Schwarber, Baez and Contreras have been included on the All-Star ballot.

Following the announcement of the 2017 All-Star starters, reserves and pitchers, fans should return to MLB.com and cast their 2017 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Final Vote for the final player on each league's All-Star roster. Then on Tuesday, July 11, while watching the 2017 All-Star Game presented by MasterCard live on FOX, fans may visit MLB.com to submit their choices for the Ted Williams Most Valuable Player Award presented by Chevrolet with the 2017 MLB All-Star Game MVP Vote.
