The three Cubs stars -- along with famous Cubs fan and former SNL cast member Bill Murray -- appeared on the Weekend Update segment as the newly crowned winners of its version of "The Voice."
"This is the best thing we've ever done," Fowler said with a smile.
Dressed to the nines (with barbershop hats to top it off), the Cubs -- and their backup singers -- launched into a raucous rendition of the song that's reverberated throughout the streets of Chicago this week: "Go Cubs Go." They did make a slight change to the tune, singing: "The Cubs are world champs today."

The trio also appeared as hired entertainers for the bachelorette party of an 83-year-old, who already had passed away before the special guests' arrival.
The Cubs' media tour continues Monday, when World Series MVP , Rizzo and Fowler are scheduled to appear on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon. Ross and third baseman will stop by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Tuesday.
