D-backs make 7 roster moves

Phil Nevin and Orlando Hudson added as additional coaches

The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) recalled OF Mitch Haniger (@M_Hanny19), LHP Steve Hathaway (@Mr_Hath), RHP Matt Koch (@MattyKoch20), RHP Dominic Leone and OF Peter O'Brien from Triple-A Reno, and reinstated LHP Andrew Chafin (left shoulder tendinitis) (@BigCountry1739) and C Chris Herrmann (strained right hamstring) from the 15-day disabled list, as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart.
 
Haniger, 25, has appeared in 10 games for the D-backs, batting .237 (9-for-38) with 2 doubles, 1 triple and 6 RBI. He hit .321 (147-for-458) with 25 homers and 94 RBI in 129 games between Double-A Mobile and Reno. 
 
Hathaway, 25, has appeared in 14 games for Arizona this season. In 41 games between Mobile and Reno, he went 2-3 with a 2.60 ERA (13 ER in 45.0 IP). 

Koch, 25, will be making his Major League debut and wear No. 55. He went 6-6 with a 4.08 ERA (55 ER in 121.1 IP) in 21 starts between Mobile and Reno.
 
Leone, 24, has appeared in 20 games for the D-backs this season. He pitched to a 5-2 record with a 3.34 ERA (13 ER in 35.0 IP) in 33 games for Reno.
 
O'Brien, 26, has appeared in 21 games for Arizona, hitting .123 (7-for-57) with 4 homers, 8 RBI and 3 walks. He hit .254 (103-for-406) with 20 doubles, 5 triples, 24 homers and 75 RBI in 105 games for the Aces.
 
Chafin, 26, owns a 0-1 record with a 6.75 ERA (17 ER in 22.2 IP) in 32 games for the D-backs this season. In 7 rehab outings between the AZL D-backs, Single-A Visalia and Reno, he posted a 2.70 ERA (2 ER in 6.2 IP) with 9 strikeouts.
 
Herrmann, 28, has hit .290 (42-for-145) with 5 doubles, 4 triples, 6 homers and 28 RBI in 54 games for Arizona. In 10 rehab games between the AZL D-backs and Reno, he hit .226 (7-for-31) with 4 doubles and 3 RBI.
 
With today's moves, the D-backs now have 33 players on the active roster.
