April 15th, 2017

D-backs prospect Marcus Wilson could be surging up the ranks following a powerful showing in Saturday's win for Class A Kane County.
Wilson, Arizona's No. 21 prospect per MLBPipeline.com, launched a pair of three-run homers to finish with six of the team's eight RBIs in their 8-4 win over Quad City. The D-backs' second-round pick in '14 is now batting .405 with a 1.322 OPS in 10 games this season.
Hitting primarily at leadoff, Wilson now has four homers in his past seven games. He had three career homers in his first three pro seasons.
The 20-year-old outfielder took a major step in '16, showing a more refined approach at the plate. He drew more walks, didn't regress on strikeouts and proved to be a threatening basestealer.
