The Arizona Diamondbacks recalled RHP Jake Barrett from Triple-A Reno. The D-backs now have 36 players on their active roster and the 40-man remains at 40.
 
Barrett, 27, has appeared in 5 games in 3 stints with the D-backs this season, posting a 5.06 ERA (3 ER in 5.1 IP) with 5 strikeouts. He has limited right-handed hitters to a .189 average (7-for-37) with 7 strikeouts in his last 16 outings since August 27, 2017.
