July 3rd, 2016

Welcome to DraftKings fantasy baseball, the Official Daily Fantasy Game of Major League Baseball.
The players listed below could provide difference-making stats for DraftKings participants on Sunday.
Wilson Ramos: Hitting .340 with 12 homers across 238 at-bats, the catcher has been the most productive player at his premium position this season. Ramos could continue to rake when he takes balanced career splits into a matchup with southpaw John Lamb (career 5.15 ERA, 1.50 WHIP) and a Reds relief corps that ranks last in baseball with a 5.93 ERA.
:: Fred Zinkie's Daily Picks ::
Jayson Werth: As a big leaguer, the outfielder has registered a .940 OPS against left-handers that exceeds his .783 mark vs. righties. From a premium lineup spot, Werth could display his power or reach base often when he faces Lamb (4.60 ERA, 1.47 WHIP in 2016) and a shaky Reds relief corps.
Danny Espinosa: With 12 homers across 106 at-bats since May 26, the shortstop has been a cost-effective option in many recent DraftKings contests. Espinosa could put a ball into the outfield seats when he brings his lifetime .804 OPS against left-handers (.666 vs. righties) to the game vs. the Reds.
Robinson Cano: Much of the second baseman's impressive career track record can be traced to his lofty lifetime .318/.365/.527 slash line against right-handers. From the heart of the lineup, Cano could drive in multiple runs when he faces Orioles righty Ubaldo Jimenez (career 4.13 ERA, 1.39 WHIP).
Seth Smith: The outfielder has long fared best vs. right-handers, against whom he has logged a lifetime .833 OPS (.596 vs. lefties). From a premium lineup spot, Smith could provide cost-effective production in DraftKings contests when he tangles with the right-handed Jimenez (6.63 ERA, 1.91 WHIP in 2016).
Leonys Martin: With 11 homers and nine steals across 248 plate appearances, the speedy outfielder has added a power component to his game this season. Martin could contribute in multiple ways when he brings his lifetime .708 OPS against right-handers (.605 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Jimenez.
Danny Valencia: Hitting .320 with 11 homers across 225 at-bats, the third baseman has been a cost-effective option in many DraftKings contests. Valencia could compile multiple hits or RBIs when he brings his lifetime .886 OPS against left-handers (.683 vs. righties) into a matchup with Pirates lefty Francisco Liriano (5.33 ERA, 1.66 WHIP in 2016).
Marcus Semien: With a lifetime .862 OPS against left-handers that exceeds his .664 mark vs. righties, the shortstop could excel in a matchup with the left-handed Liriano. In his career, Liriano has allowed right-handed hitters such as Semien to post a .717 OPS (.587 OPS allowed to righty batters).
Buster Posey: The catcher will be in prime position to deliver outstanding production at a premium position when he brings his impressive lifetime .328/.388/.560 slash line against left-handers into a matchup with D-backs southpaw Robbie Ray (career 4.49 ERA, 1.47 WHIP) at hitter-friendly Chase Field.
Corey Dickerson: Hitting .216 this season, the outfielder could have a reasonable price tag in DraftKings contests when he brings his impressive lifetime .895 OPS against right-handers (.644 vs. lefties) into a matchup against righty Mike Pelfrey (5.02 ERA, 1.74 WHIP in 2016) and a Tigers bullpen that ranks 23rd in the Majors with a 4.42 ERA.
Matt Adams: As a big leaguer, the first baseman has produced an .823 OPS against right-handers that exceeds his .581 mark vs. lefties. Adams could rip a round-tripper and/or drive in multiple runs when he meets up with Brewers righty Chase Anderson (5.45 ERA, 1.34 WHIP in 2016).
Nomar Mazara: The rookie outfielder will be in prime position to improve on his .301/.355/.485 slash line against right-handers when he faces righty Kyle Gibson (career 4.49 ERA, 1.37 WHIP) and a Twins bullpen that ranks 25th in the Majors with a 4.51 ERA.
Shin-Soo Choo: Hitting leadoff, the outfielder may maximize his opportunities to reach base and score runs when he brings his lifetime .903 OPS against right-handers (.692 vs. lefties) into a matchup with the right-handed Gibson (5.12 ERA, 1.49 WHIP in 2016) and a Twins squad that ranks last in baseball with a .674 defensive efficiency ratio.
Brian McCann: Having compiled 39 homers and 129 RBIs since the outset of 2015, the catcher ranks among the most productive players at his premium position. McCann could post a notable DraftKings total when he brings his lifetime .822 OPS against right-handers (.754 vs. lefties) into a matchup with righty Andrew Cashner (4.43 ERA, 1.44 WHIP since the outset of 2015) and a Padres bullpen that ranks 26th in the Majors with a 4.60 ERA.
Jon Gray: With a lifetime 5.08 ERA, the right-hander could have a reasonable price tag in DraftKings contests when he vacates his hitter-friendly home park and works at offense-suppressing Dodger Stadium against a Los Angeles squad that ranks 22nd in the Majors with a .706 OPS against righties.
Cole Hamels: With a lifetime 3.28 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP, the left-hander has the skills to spin a gem when he faces a Twins lineup that ranks 21st in the Majors with a .722 OPS against southpaws. Hamels could come away with a win if his talented supporting cast -- which ranks sixth in baseball with 398 runs scored -- has success against Gibson.
Chad Green: Set to make a spot start on Sunday, Green leads the Triple-A International League with a 1.54 ERA across 14 starts this season. The right-hander could continue to fare well when he works at pitcher-friendly Petco Park against a Padres lineup that ranks 29th in baseball with a .657 OPS against righties.
All statistics are accurate through the completion of Friday's games.
