Daniel Murphy: Hitting .386, the second baseman has been one of the most productive players at his premium position this season. Batting out of the cleanup spot, Murphy could reach base often or drive in multiple runs when he brings his lifetime .801 OPS against right-handers (.687 vs. lefties) into a matchup with the right-handed Moscot (career 8.21 FIP) and a shaky Reds bullpen.
Ben Revere: From his perch atop the lineup, Revere could reach base often and/or score multiple runs when he brings his balanced career splits into a matchup with the inexperienced Moscot (career 29 1/3 innings) and an unreliable Reds relief corps. The speedy outfielder could also swipe a base against a Reds team that is tied for the second-most stolen bases allowed (37) in 2016.
Odubel Herrera: With a 38-to-42 walk-to-strikeout ratio this season, Herrera has shown dramatic improvements at the plate. The outfielder could have an outstanding game when he brings his lifetime .820 OPS against right-handers (.709 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Brewers righty Wily Peralta (career 4.26 ERA, 1.44 WHIP).
Maikel Franco: From the heart of the lineup, the third baseman could drive in multiple runs when he brings his lifetime .782 OPS against right-handers (.689 vs. lefties) into a matchup at his hitter-friendly home park against the right-handed Peralta (6.51 ERA, 1.92 WHIP in 2016). Franco could also thrive against a Brewers bullpen that ranks 21st in the Majors with a 4.04 ERA.
Ryan Howard: In his career, Howard has produced a .927 OPS against right-handers that exceeds his .712 mark vs. lefties. The first baseman could hit his ninth homer of the season when he bats at his offense-inducing home park against Peralta, who in his career has allowed left-handed hitters such as Howard to post an .810 OPS (.722 OPS allowed to righty batters).
Dexter Fowler: Hitting atop a talented Cubs lineup, the outfielder could reach base and cross home plate multiple times when he takes his lifetime .828 OPS against left-handers (.774 vs. righties) into a matchup with D-backs southpaw Patrick Corbin (4.96 ERA, 1.42 WHIP in 2016).
Franklin Gutierrez: The outfielder has produced pronounced lifetime splits, with an .840 OPS against left-handers that vastly exceeds his .659 mark vs. righties. Gutierrez could thrive when he vacates his pitcher-friendly home park and bats at offense-inducing Globe Life Park in Arlington against southpaw Derek Holland (career 4.30 ERA, 1.32 WHIP).
Chris Iannetta: The catcher will be poised to provide cost-effective production at a premium position when he brings his lifetime .859 OPS against left-handers (.704 vs. righties) into a matchup with the lefty Holland (4.78 ERA, 1.39 WHIP in 2016) at Texas' hitter-friendly venue. Nelson Cruz: The only player to reach the 40-homer mark in each of the previous two seasons, the outfielder could go deep when he brings his impressive lifetime .298/.374/.547 slash line against left-handers into a matchup with the southpaw Holland and an unreliable Rangers relief corps. In his career, Holland has allowed right-handed hitters such as Cruz to post a .776 OPS (.653 OPS allowed to lefty batters).
Jason Kipnis: Expected to bat near the top of the order, the second baseman could provide production from a premium position when he brings his lifetime .810 OPS against right-handers (.655 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Royals righty Chris Young (career 4.45 FIP, 1.2 HR/9 rate).
Gerrit Cole: With a 2.62 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP since the outset of 2015, the right-hander has emerged as one of the most effective starters in the National League. Cole could pitch deep into the game and accumulate quite a few strikeouts when he works at his pitcher-friendly home park against an Angels lineup that ranks 18th in baseball with 232 runs scored and will operate without the designated hitter due to Interleague rules.
Aaron Nola: In his first full big league season, the right-hander has posted an impressive 2.88 ERA and a 0.93 WHIP. Nola could continue to serve as a viable No. 1 starter in DraftKings contests when he faces a Brewers lineup that ranks second in the Majors with 527 strikeouts.
Jose Quintana: Having produced a 2.13 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP, the left-hander has been one of the most reliable starters in the American League this season. Quintana could spin a gem when he tangles with a Tigers lineup that ranks 17th in the Majors with a .728 OPS against southpaws.
Tanner Roark: With a lifetime 3.05 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP, the right-hander has become a trusted second starter in DraftKings contests. Roark could continue his effective 2016 season (2.70 ERA, 1.19 WHIP) when he faces a Reds lineup that ranks 23rd in the Majors with a .703 OPS against righties.
Corey Kluber: Having produced a 3.12 ERA, a 1.08 WHIP and a 9.9 K/9 rate since the outset of 2014, the right-hander has the skills to post a notable total in DraftKings contests when he works at home against a Royals lineup that ranks last in the American League with 47 home runs and will operate without injured regulars Alex Gordon and Mike Moustakas.
