SEATTLE -- The Tigers continue to sign their Draft picks at a rapid rate. Detroit announced deals Tuesday with 17 of its 40 selections in last week's Draft, including eight of its top 10 selections.
Among the deals announced was second-rounder Reynaldo Rivera, the highest-drafted Tigers selection to sign so far. The national Junior College Player of the Year agreed to terms on a deal that includes an $850,000 bonus, according to MLB Pipeline's Jim Callis. The bonus is well below the $1,148,400 slot assigned to the 57th overall selection.
