Right-hander, two relievers pitch 3-hit shutout for San Antonio

Right-hander Dinelson Lamet and two Double-A San Antonio relievers combined on a three-hit shutout Sunday as the Missions defeated Northwest Arkansas, 4-0, in the Texas City. It was the Missions' fourth shutout in just over two weeks and their 12th of the season.
Lamet, 24, allowed two hits and a walk with nine strikeouts over six innings to improve to 5-6 while lowering his ERA to 3.52. The 6-foot-4, 187-pound native of the Dominican Republic, who is ranked the No. 19 prospect in the Padres' system, hasn't allowed a run over 12 innings in his last two outings while allowing five hits and a walk with 16 strikeouts.
Right-hander T.J. Weir (6.25 ERA) issued two walks with a strikeout in 1 2/3 hitless, scoreless innings. Left-hander Kyle McGrath (1.47) completed the shutout, allowing a hit with four strikeouts in 1 1/3 innings.
Left fielder Luis Tejada (.248) was 2-for-2 with a double, two walks, a RBI and two runs scored. Catcher (.201) was 1-for-3 with two RBIs.

TRIPLE-A EL PASO (65-57): OKLAHOMA CITY 13, Chihuahuas 2. Starting LHP (5-7, 4.88 ERA) allowed six runs (five earned) on seven hits and two walks with four strikeouts in five innings. RHP Derek Eitel (4.07) allowed a run on two walks and two strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings. LHP (3.24) allowed a run on a hit and a walk in one-third of an inning. RHP Michael Dimock (5.36) allowed five runs on five hits and a walk with a strikeout in an inning. 3B (.251) was 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. CF (.312) and 1B (.284) were each 1-for-4 with a RBI.
CLASS A ADVANCED LAKE ELSINORE (28-22, 60-60): BAKERSFIELD 11, Storm 8. 3B Ty France (.327) was 2-for-4 with a double, his seventh homer, a RBI and three runs scored. 1B (.277) was 2-for-5 with his second homer and two runs scored. CF Michael Gettys (.304) was 2-for-5 with his sixth homer, a RBI and two runs scored. RF Franmil Reyes (.265) had three doubles in five at-bats with a RBI and a run scored. Starting LHP Jerry Keel (2-1, 6.35 ERA) allowed eight runs on eight hits and two walks with a strikeout in three innings.
CLASS A FORT WAYNE (20-29, 56-63): Bowling Green 2, TIN CAPS 1. Starting RHP Jake Nix (2-6, 4.12 ERA) allowed two runs on six hits with three walks in six innings. RHP Louis Distacio (3.75) allowed a hit with four strikeouts in three scoreless innings. 2B Peter Van Gansen (.229) was 3-for-5 with a run scored. DH Tyler Selesky (.349) was 1-for-3 with a walk and a RBI.
SHORT-SEASON TRI-CITY (7-10, 26-29): BOISE 11, Dust Devils 4. 2B Nate Easley (.283) was 2-for-2 with a triple, three walks and a run scored. Starting RHP Hansel Rodriguez (3.65 ERA) allowed two runs on four hits and three walks with two strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings. RHP Jordan Guerrero (4-5, 4.34) allowed four runs (three earned) on three hits and four walks with three strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings. RHP Nick Monroe (8.38) allowed two runs on three hits and a walk with three strikeouts in an inning. RHP Chasen Ford (7.31) allowed three runs on three hits and two walks with a strikeout in an inning.
ARIZONA ROOKIE PADRES (19-25): Royals 2, PADRES 1. DH Tre Carter (.286) was 2-for-4 with a steal and a RBI. Starting LHP Dan Dallas (1-1, 3.00 ERA) allowed two runs on four hits and a walk with two strikeouts in three innings. RHP Dominic DiSabatino (11.37) struck out one in a perfect inning. RHP allowed a hit with two strikeouts in his debut.
