DENVER -- The Dodgers face roster decisions Monday when left fielder Carl Crawford and right-handed reliever Louis Coleman could rejoin the club.
Crawford has been on the disabled list since April 9 with lower back pain. He was to complete a Minor League rehab assignment Sunday at Rancho Cucamonga.
Coleman has been on the bereavement list since Thursday after the death of his grandfather. Luis Avilan was called up to replace him.
"Coleman is flying back today and tomorrow he'll be at the ballpark," said manager Dave Roberts. "With Carl coming back, after today's game we'll look at the roster, see where we're at and make a decision."
With Miami starting left-hander Wei-Yin Chen, the Dodgers could wait a day to activate Crawford. Even if he is activated on Monday, the left-handed Crawford does not figure to start against Chen. Roberts said he planned to rest lefties Adrian Gonzalez and Chase Utley Monday night.
Justin Turner is the current backup at first base, but his availability is unclear because of a bruised left big toe.
