Dodgers acquire Eibner from A's

The Dodgers on Wednesday acquired outfielder Brett Eibner from the Athletics in exchange for Minor League infielder Jordan Tarsovich.

Eibner hit .193 with six home runs and 22 RBIs in 70 games split between the Athletics and Royals in 2016. The 28-year-old was designated for assignment by the A's on Friday.

Tarsovich, 25, batted .221/.325/.371 with nine homers and 32 RBIs in 90 games last season between Class A and Double-A. He was drafted in the 22nd round by the Dodgers in 2015.
