LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers today reinstated left-hander Brett Anderson (blister, left finger) from the 15-day disabled list, giving the team 37 players on its active roster.
The 28-year-old Anderson, who missed the first four and a half months of the season recovering from March 3 arthroscopic back surgery to repair a bulging disc, has gone 0-2 and allowed 11 runs in 4.0 innings in two starts with the Dodgers this year, last pitching on Aug. 20 at Cincinnati. He made one rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City in Game 3 of the Pacific Coast League championship series on Sept. 16, allowing one run on three hits and striking out five in 5.0 innings in a no-decision (54 pitches).
