LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers legendary executive Tommy Lasorda was released from a local hospital on Monday after a 10-day convalesence to recover from back and shoulder issues.
The 89-year-old Lasorda, a Hall of Fame former manager of two World Series champions and currently senior advisor to chairman Mark Walter, told club officials he was hoping to attend tonight's Game 3 of the National League Championship Series between the Dodgers and Cubs at Dodger Stadium.
