Strong offensive performances by Willy Adames, Jake Bauers and Daniel Robertson powered Triple-A Durham to an International League title on Friday as the Bulls edged Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, 6-4, in Game 4 of the Governors' Cup Finals.
The title marked the fifth in franchise history for Durham, which won both of its best-of-five postseason series, 3-1.

Scranton scored the game's first run in the bottom of the third inning, when Miguel Andujar plated Jonathan Diaz with a single to right field.
The lead didn't last long, however, as the Bulls responded with three runs in the top of the fourth inning.
Robertson delivered the key knock in the frame in the form of a two-run single to right field that plated Adames and Bauers, whose feet-first slide into home plate knocked the ball loose from catcher Kyle Higashioka's glove to allow a third run to score.
Durham would continue to add to its lead in the subsequent frames, as Adames tacked on a run with a fifth-inning double before Robertson connected on a two-run homer to right-center field in the sixth.

The RailRiders made an attempt at a comeback as they pushed across one run in each of the next three frames before going down in order in the ninth inning.
Robertson was Durham's offensive star on Friday as he finished 3-for-3 with four RBIs. Adames, MLBPipeline.com's No. 16 overall prospect (Rays' No. 2), also collected multiple hits in the contest, going 2-for-4 with one run scored and an RBI.

Bauers, Tampa Bay's No. 5 prospect (No. 77 overall), finished with one hit in five at-bats, giving him at least one hit in each of Durham's eight playoff games. Overall, the 21-year-old outfielder-first baseman tied for the International League lead in the postseason with a .393 average and 13 hits.
The Bulls will now take on the winner of the Pacific Coast League championship series in the Triple-A Baseball National Championship on Sept. 19 at PNC Field.
