ST. LOUIS -- Marlins four-time All-Star right fielder is now a larger-than-life figure.
In preparation for the MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard, Stanton's image is displayed on the side of the InterContinental hotel in downtown Miami. The moving silhouette of Stanton taking swings is part of the promotion for Tuesday's Midsummer Classic at Marlins Park.

Stanton is an ambassador for the All-Star Game, and he also is a favorite in the T-Mobile Home Run Derby on Monday.
Stanton, listed at 6-foot-6 and 245 pounds, has his image cast over 19 floors of the hotel.
The Marlins are currently in the midst of a four-game series with the Cardinals, and on Friday they will begin a three-game series at San Francisco before returning home for the All-Star Game.
"I saw some videos with the fireworks in the background. It was really cool," Stanton said. "They sent me a really cool silhouette of the skyline and the fireworks."

"When I go home on Sunday, I should be able to see it from my place, which should be even cooler," Stanton said.
Stanton has been selected as an All-Star reserve, while teammate was voted in as a starting outfielder for the National League.

Stanton and first baseman are committed to participating in the Home Run Derby.
To get his image to create the silhouette, Stanton recently attended a photo shoot.
"It was less work than hitting in the cage," he said. "Just dry swinging and a couple of different angles. It was pretty easy, pretty simple."
