Gleyber Torres propelled Class A Advanced Tampa to a win in the opener of the Florida State League semifinals with a pair of doubles in a game otherwise dominated by the dueling pitching staffs.
The Yankees' No. 2 prospect (No. 19 overall) ripped a double to left field in the top of the 13th inning and an error by Dunedin's left fielder allowed Thairo Estrada to score the go-ahead run in Tampa's 2-1 win.
Torres, who had six doubles and hit .254 in 31 games with the Yankees, also doubled to left in his first at-bat of the game and finished 2-for-5.
"He's something else. He's just a really, really talented kid," Tampa manager Patrick Osborn told MiLB.com. "You look at the box score, he's 2-for-5 with two doubles, but he made some plays tonight in the field that kept the game tied. He's got a chance to be one special player and I'm glad he's on our side."
No. 20 overall prospect Jorge Mateo (Yankees' No. 3) went 1-for-6, but did drive in Tampa's first run of the game.
The 21-year-old gave Tampa a 1-0 lead when he hit into a fielder's choice in the third. Mateo later singled and stole second to lead off the 11th, but his teammates were unable to bring him home.

• No. 79 overall prospect Mitch Keller (Pirates' No. 5) got off to a strong start in Class A Advanced Bradenton's 11-6 win over St. Lucie in Game 1 of the Florida State League semifinals. Keller didn't pitch his best, but did enough to get the win, giving up three runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings. The 20-year-old cruised through four innings, but then saw his 33 inning scoreless streak snapped in a three-run fifth.
• No. 94 overall prospect Anthony Alford (Blue Jays' No. 3) provided all of Class A Advanced Dunedin's offense with an RBI single in the third inning in the club's loss to Tampa. Alford, who had 44 RBIs in 92 games this season, went 1-for-4 with a walk and an RBI.
• Gilbert Lara (Brewers' No. 9) extended his hitting streak to seven games, including five multi-hit efforts, with a 2-for-4 night for Rookie-level Helena. The 18-year-old shortstop picked up his 10th double of the season and also drove home a pair of runs, bringing his total to 28 through 58 games.
• A trio of Dodgers' prospects put together strong showings in Rookie-level Ogden's 12-10 win over Grand Junction. Gavin Lux (Dodgers' No. 9) had his third three-hit game of the season, going 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored. Keibert Ruiz (Dodgers' No. 25) hit his second homer of the season and finished 2-for-5 with three RBIs. Mitchell Hansen (Dodgers' No. 27) homered for the first time since Aug. 14 as part of a 2-for-3, two RBI night.

• Mets' No. 24 prospect David Thompson got off to a strong start in the postseason with a 3-for-5 game for Class A Advanced St. Lucie. Thompson, who had six games with three or more hits in the regular season, ripped a pair of doubles, but it was not enough for the Mets to come away with a win.
• Phillies' No. 21 prospect Jhailyn Ortiz hit a go-ahead two-run single to help keep the Rookie-level GCL Phillies alive. Ortiz went 3-for-4 as the Phillies topped the Cardinals, 3-2, forcing a decisive Game 3 in the GCL Finals.
• Kevin Kramer (Pirates' No. 18) registered his sixth three-hit game of the year for Class A Advanced Bradenton. The 22-year-old hit .277 in 118 games this season and began the playoffs with a 3-for-5 night.
• Reds' No. 12 prospect T.J. Friedl collected a pair of hits for the third consecutive game, going 2-for-5 for Rookie-level Billings. The 21-year-old had three RBIs and finished with a pair of doubles.
• Garrett Davila (Royals' No. 20) was stuck with his first loss of the year in an outing for Rookie-level Burlington. The 19-year-old entered Game 1 of the Appalachian League Finals with a 7-0 regular season record, but gave up six runs (two earned) on six hits in 3 1/3 innings.
• Ricky Aracena (Royals' No. 29) filled up the box score for Rookie-level Idaho Falls. Aracena was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate, doubled, drove in three runs, scored a run and stole his 17th base of the season.
