As the stars of tomorrow show off their skills during the 71st annual College World Series at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Neb., fans can also look back upon the glory of yesterday's greats in a one-of-a-kind baseball experience. The MLB Hall of Fame Tour settles into its seventh stop of the season at the CenturyLink Convention Center, located just across the street from the ballpark, from June 17-28, and gives baseball fans in the area another outlet to immerse themselves in a treasure trove of the sport's history.

The Hall of Fame Tour is a traveling exhibition designed to bring the rich background of America's Pastime to life. Tour-goers across the country have marveled at the artifacts featured within the exhibition, such as Carlton Fisk's cleats from his historic home run from Game 6 of the 1975 World Series and memorabilia commemorating Jackie Robinson's trailblazing career.

Fans in Omaha will also experience the cutting-edge virtual reality technology that the Tour deploys, immersing themselves in some of the most iconic moments in baseball history. Take a virtual reality ride through the Cubs' drought-busting 2016 World Series run or compete in MLBAM's VR video game, "Home Run Derby," all while tens of thousands of fans revel in the college games down the road.

As the birthplace of 19th century Hall of Famer Sam Crawford and 20th century star Wade Boggs, Nebraska is the perfect place to celebrate baseball's past, present and future. And as 2017 first-round draft picks Brendan McKay (Louisville), Alex Faedo (Florida) and Alex Lange (LSU) take the collegiate stage for the final time this spring, the legends of the game will have front-row seats.
