Hinch not pleased with players getting plunked

KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Two Astros hitters were hit by a pitch in the course of a half-inning during Wednesday afternoon's 7-3 loss to the Tigers, making for three hit batsmen in two days for Houston.
Detroit starter Jordan Zimmermann hit Carlos Gomez and Jason Castro in the second inning. Gomez was struck on his left wrist and Castro was struck on the right leg.

The two errant pitches came just a day after outfielder George Springer was hit on the elbow by Washington's Burke Badenhop -- making for the third time Springer had been hit by a pitch this spring.
None of the players will miss any action as a result, but afterward, manager A.J. Hinch alluded to his dissatisfaction with the trend.
"People pound us in," Hinch said. "We'll play close attention to it. … I could do without our guys being smoked."
