Umpire Layne leaves game with concussion-like symptoms

MINNEAPOLIS -- The first inning of the Twins' game against the Mariners was delayed after home-plate umpire Jerry Layne was hit in the facemask and left shoulder by a foul tip from Robinson Canó.
Layne left the game as a result, and was replaced by Hunter Wendelstedt. Wendelstedt moved from second base to behind the plate. Layne left with concussion-like symptoms and he'll continue to be evaluated
