NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. -- Each winter when Tribe Fest arrives, Indians fans know that another season is right around the corner. Cleveland's followers can now mark their calendars and begin counting down the day's until the team's marquee offseason event.
On Wednesday, the American League-champion Indians announced that Tribe Fest 2017 will be held from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. ET on Jan. 28 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Cleveland. The hotel is located roughly four miles east of Progressive Field near the Cleveland Clinic campus.
The annual event is being held at the Intercontintal rather than at Progressive Field due to ongoing construction on the service level of the Tribe's home ballpark. Cleveland held Tribe Fest at a downtown hotel last winter, but opted to switch locations after listening to feedback from fans who attended. The Intercontinental provides a larger venue to accommodate more fans and includes ample parking.
The current roster of players scheduled to appear at the fifth annual Tribe Fest include ace Corey Kluber, closer Cody Allen, relief wizard Andrew Miller, starters Carlos Carrasco and Josh Tomlin, catcher Roberto Pérez, third baseman Jose Ramirez, reliever Zach McAllister and outfielder Abraham Almonte. More players, coaches, alumni and executives will also be on hand. The Indians will announce additions or changes as they are confirmed.

General admission tickets will cost $5 for adults and kids and will be made available online only, beginning at 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday. There are over 5,000 parking spaces ($10 per car) in garages surrounding the venue, and the garages marked BBS and BBN are connected to the Intercontinental Hotel by a skyway that connects directly into the Tribe Fest registration area on the third floor. Valet parking will also be available at the East 105th St. garage.
Autographs can be guaranteed by purchasing an autograph ticket bundled with the general admission ticket. There will be two waves for Tribe Fest (9 a.m.-2 p.m. and 2 p.m.-7 p.m.) with a variety of autograph session blocks (250 tickets per session, and four tickets per transaction) within each time period. Fans are required to buy the autograph ticket ($30 for alumni sessions and $35 for current Major Leaguers) if they would like to be guaranteed a spot in the autograph session line.

Beyond autographs, there will be a main stage for question and answer sessions, games and other activities with Indians players. The team's mascots (Slider and the racing Hot Dogs) will be on hand as well. There will be photo booths, locker room displays and games and activities for kids.
Once again, the Indians will also have a celebrity bartending event, too. Various players, coaches and executives will participate at the Intercontinental's Falcon Study for fans 21 and older. Those sessions will be from 2:15-3:15 p.m. and 4:45-5:45 p.m. Tickets for that cost $45 and are required for entry. A portion of the bar sales will benefit Cleveland Indians Charities.
