CLEVELAND -- Still stinging from 's grand slam in the top of the third inning, the Indians pushed across their first run of World Series Game 6 on Tuesday night in the fourth -- but missed a chance for much more against Cubs starter .
After opened the inning with the Cubs' first hit off Arrieta, sent a one-out single into center field to cut Chicago's lead to six runs. Though dove to rob the next batter, Jose Ramirez, of a hit, the Indians filled up the bases on a hit by pitch and a walk. They left them loaded when -- whose defensive exploits included a misplay on Russell's two-run double in the first -- struck out on four pitches. Cleveland lost, 9-3, setting up a Game 7 on Wednesday night.

Arrieta escaped the inning after throwing 26 pitches. He then allowed a solo shot to Kipnis in the fifth as Cleveland cut the deficit to 7-2. An Indians win would secure the club's first World Series title since 1948, while a Cubs victory would force a Game 7 on Wednesday.
