It's the Cubs! The Indians will face the Cubs, who claimed the National League pennant with a 5-0 victory over the Dodgers in Game 6 of the NL Championship Series at Wrigley Field on Saturday night, in the 2016 World Series. Game 1 will be played Tuesday night at Progressive Field.
The Series will be a matchup of two organizations with the longest World Series droughts. The Indians have not won since 1948, while the Cubs haven't captured the World Series since 1908. The Cubs' Series berth is their first since 1945.

The Indians will likely turn to ace in Game 1, where he most likely will face left-hander , who started Game 1 for the Cubs in the NLDS and NLCS. Neither team has officially announced its starter for the game.
